1. Overview & Core Philosophy

Ekapta Pro is built on a privacy-first foundation, adhering strictly to Google Play Developer & Privacy guidelines. We believe your personal contact information, company branding, portraits, and custom business card layouts belong solely to you.

2. Information Collection and Use

We do not collect, store, transmit, monetize, or share any personal data with third-party servers.

Device Camera & Photo Picker Access: The app may request access to your device camera or photo picker to capture a live headshot or select a portrait or company logo for your digital business card. Camera and gallery access is strictly limited to capturing or selecting media during your active app session. All images are processed and saved directly into your device’s private app sandbox storage and are never recorded, transmitted, or stored on external servers.
No Backend Database: All contact details entered into the card editor (names, job titles, departments, company names, email addresses, phone numbers, website URLs, addresses, and social handles) are stored and processed locally within your native Android device storage and local database. No remote server database, cloud sync, or user tracking infrastructure exists.
No Image or Font Upload Storage: Photos, logos, background banners, and custom typography used in the app are stored exclusively in the app's secure private sandbox storage on your Android device. They are never uploaded or transmitted to any external server or cloud repository.
No Tracking, Advertising, or Analytics: We do not use third-party analytics SDKs, advertising frameworks, tracking pixels, or persistent device identifiers.
Optional AI Bio Assistant: The app includes an optional AI bio generator powered by Google's Gemini API. When you explicitly choose to generate a bio, only the prompt keywords you provide (job title, industry/company, tone, and optional highlight keywords) are sent over an encrypted TLS connection to generate text suggestions. Your personal contact information (phone numbers, personal email, street address), headshot photos, and saved card files are never transmitted or retained.

3. No Login, Accounts, or In-App Paywalls

Ekapta Pro is available on Google Play as a paid app with a single upfront download fee. Once downloaded, there are:

No accounts or logins required
No locked features or tiers
No recurring subscriptions
No in-app purchases or export watermarks

Every card template, QR customization shape, color tool, and export format is fully accessible upon installation.

4. Local Processing & Downloadable Assets

When you export or share your digital business card:

High-Resolution Images (9:16 & 19.5:9 PNG/JPG): Rendered and exported locally on your device using native Android Canvas graphics.
vCard Contact Files (.vcf): Formatted and generated directly on-device according to vCard 3.0 standards.
Custom QR Codes: Generated locally with offline mathematical encoding.

Files are shared exclusively through Android’s native system share sheet or saved directly to your device storage via secure Android FileProvider APIs.

5. Children's Privacy (COPPA Compliance)

Our application does not collect any personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13.

6. Your Rights & Data Control

Because all your cards, drafts, and profile presets are stored solely on your local device, you maintain 100% control over your data at all times:

Clear Current Draft: Tap the "Reset Draft" button inside the editor.
Manage Saved Profiles: Open the Saved Profiles drawer to view, update, or permanently delete individual profiles.
Complete Data Eradication: You can erase all app data and cached assets at any time via your device settings (Settings > Apps > Ekapta Pro > Storage > Clear Data) or by uninstalling the application.
